教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 學(xué)生能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)說(shuō)兩個(gè)關(guān)動(dòng)物的生詞:giraffe,deer。2. 能運(yùn)用形容詞tall和short對(duì)人或動(dòng)物進(jìn)行恰當(dāng)?shù)拿枋觥?. 能聽(tīng)懂會(huì)說(shuō)兩句常用語(yǔ)Yeah! You’re right.4. 學(xué)生感受學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)帶來(lái)的成功和快樂(lè),學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣得到提高。
教學(xué)重難點(diǎn):

1、重點(diǎn):掌握四個(gè)句子:The giraffe is tall. The deer is short. You’re tall. I’m short.

2、難點(diǎn):能運(yùn)用所學(xué)的詞句描述人或動(dòng)物。

教學(xué)過(guò)程:

Step1: Warm-up/Revision

1、Listen to a song《If you are happy》

2、Let’s do

3、Guessing game

T: Boys and girls, let’s play a guessing game. There is an animal. It has a long nose and a short tail. It has big ears and small eyes. It ‘s so funny. It’s……?

Ss: Elephant.

T: Yeah. You’re right.(課件呈現(xiàn)elephant)

1、新授生詞giraffe、deer

通過(guò)上面的Guessing game引出giraffe 和deer 的教學(xué)

(1)T: There is an animal. It is so tall.

It has a long neck.

T: Yeah. You’re right. (課件呈現(xiàn)giraffe)

操練單詞giraffe

2、新授句子:The giraffe is tall. The deer is short

(1)通過(guò)比較圖片中的giraffe 和deer,引出句子The giraffe is tall. The deer is short.。

(2)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用The…… is tall. The…… is short.來(lái)比較課件出示的動(dòng)物。
(3)通過(guò)Let’s chant來(lái)鞏固所學(xué)的句子。

The giraffe is tall , the monkey is short!

The monkey is tall , the deer is short!

The deer is tall, the dog is short!

The dog is tall, the cat is short!

3、新授句子You’re tall. I’m short.

(1)將自己與學(xué)生比較,對(duì)學(xué)生說(shuō):I’m tall. You’re short.幫助學(xué)生說(shuō):I’m short, you’re tall.

(2)同桌兩人兩兩操練

4、呈現(xiàn)動(dòng)物園,請(qǐng)學(xué)生結(jié)合所看到的動(dòng)物說(shuō)說(shuō)自己最喜歡的動(dòng)物是什么,對(duì)所喜歡的動(dòng)物作簡(jiǎn)單的描述。

5、呈現(xiàn)課文內(nèi)容。

(1) 能過(guò)錄象來(lái)展示Let’s talk 的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,

(2) 呈現(xiàn)課文插圖,請(qǐng)學(xué)生根據(jù)所看所想來(lái)說(shuō)說(shuō)課文內(nèi)容

(3) 學(xué)生聽(tīng)、跟讀課文。

(4) 小組交流。

Step3: Extension/consolidation

1、學(xué)生運(yùn)用所學(xué)的知識(shí)介紹動(dòng)物玩具。學(xué)生說(shuō)得好,用Yeah! You’re right.表?yè)P(yáng)。

2、吟唱歌曲《They are in the zoo》,在歌聲中結(jié)束教學(xué)。
