情境、生本、活動設計讓復習更有效

6A Unit 4是一個復習單元,主要用以指導學生進行Unit1~3知識點的復習,是學生英語學習的重要單元。復習課內(nèi)容多而雜,往往要把平實所學的分散的、零碎的知識縱橫地聯(lián)系起來;復習課要關注不同學生已有的知識和技能水平,指導學生查漏補缺;復習課應提升學生的語言知識和能力,做到“溫故而知新”。

復習課不等于是習題課,如果復習課上單一地進行講練結(jié)合模式,學生普遍會感到無趣乏味,喪失對課堂參與的積極性,教師也覺得疲憊不堪,這樣往往達不到預設的復習效果。

通過組內(nèi)對本節(jié)課的多次研討和磨課,我感到要提高復習課的效率,教師應不斷優(yōu)化教學設計,努力做到葉瀾教授所提倡的 “五實”——扎實、充實、豐實、平實和真實,引導學生高效復習。

1.情境設計,推陳出新,貫穿課堂

小學生受其年齡特點的影響,對舊知識的復習缺少興趣,對分散的知識點不會自主地進行聯(lián)系、在復習過程中,教師設計為Winnie過生日為故事的主線,把零散的知識點用情境貫穿課堂,給學生熟悉的內(nèi)容穿上“新的外衣”,提高學生的學習積極性,設計思考問題,為學生的語言實踐提供平臺,從而提高學生是實際語言運用能力。

線索:Winnie’s birthday—birthday party(see public signs)—birthday present(review past tense)—different ways to celebrate birthdays

片段1:課堂開始,從free talk交流學生對birthday的了解,引出情境Winnie is going to have a birthday party.圍繞“birthday”這個主題,學生進行詞-句-段的一系列復習:思考相關的詞匯——birthday song/cards/cake/presents等;小組討論,運用“birthday”相關句型向Winnie進行提問;帶著問題閱讀短文,解決疑惑,并幫助Winnie設計好名片;為Winnie購買禮物,操練句型What would you like as a birthday present? Would you like … as a birthday present?

整節(jié)課復習的知識點,在Winnie’s birthday這條新線索的引領下,學生能較好地參與,每個同學都能在小組互助下積極發(fā)言,主動與小組內(nèi)同學交際,語言訓練有層次性,復習扎實、充實而又真實。

2.生本設計,有的放矢,綜合運用

復習課涉及的知識點比較多,學生的學習基礎又不相同,整體水平參差不齊,貧富差距比較大。此外,同一位學生對不同知識點的掌握程度也不盡相同。這就要求我們在教學設計時,要合理分層,對不同學生提出不同的學習要求,進行生本設計;要充分立足于學生,了解學生的學困點,有的放矢;要整合教材,系統(tǒng)歸納,指導學生綜合運用。

片段2:Public signs是學生學習的難點,在日常教學中,學生往往不能靈活運用。我通過讓學生欣賞Disneyland的美麗照片,激發(fā)學生對美的共鳴,引出public signs。第一層次:Brainstorm環(huán)節(jié),考察學生的發(fā)散性思維,學生對不同標志進行回憶;第二層次:小組對話,What does it mean? It means… It means you should/shouldn’t ….鍛煉學生的口頭表達能力;第三層次:閱讀填詞,通過對句意及圖片的理解,完成短文。從詞-句-段三個層次,對學生提出不同復習的要求。課前調(diào)查發(fā)現(xiàn),學生對excited/exciting的運用容易混淆,對public signs的部分詞組運用還不到位。在語段檢測中,我設計了有針對性的作業(yè)及講解,努力做到有的放矢,引導學生扎實練習。

3.活動設計,活躍課堂,培養(yǎng)興趣

興趣是最好的老師,學生的學習興趣是一種強烈的自主求職欲。每一節(jié)課,教師都應注重培養(yǎng)學生的學習興趣,復習課更是如此。如果一味地復習知識點,往往會給學生“炒冷飯”的感覺。在教學設計時,適當引入游戲活動,不僅能活躍課堂,讓學生在沉悶的練習中醒來,而且能給學生耳目一新的感覺,培養(yǎng)學習想去。

片段3:復習Unit 3詞匯時,我設計了Magic Mirror環(huán)節(jié),在超級瑪麗的音樂聲中,學生快樂地復習,為后面的語言交流打下基礎。

片段4:復習past tense這個語法點時,運用學生喜愛的找茬游戲作為語言運用環(huán)節(jié),學生在Winnie的指引下,尋找禮物,找出圖片間的差異,進行小組對話:Where is/are…? It’s/ They’re…. It isn’t/ They aren’t there now. It was/ They were there a moment ago/just now.學生的注意力在有限的時間內(nèi)非常集中,認真地觀察及組織語言,語言表達真實、豐實。

復習課設計好壞對學生學習質(zhì)量的高低有著重要作用。提高復習課的有效性要始終樹立以學生為主體的觀念,充分調(diào)動學生積極性,把培養(yǎng)學習興趣放在首要位置。教師通過情境設計、生本設計及活動設計等多種手段,改進學生的學習方式,指導學生查漏補缺,提高學生英語綜合運用能力。
